Behaviour Support, Therapy, Social Work & Consultancy

Specialist Behaviour Support

At Improve Your Capacity, we deliver neuroaffirming, trauma-informed Behaviour Support for people with complex behavioural needs. We understand behaviour as communication, not a problem to be fixed. Our approach prioritises autonomy, safety, and dignity.

We attend schools, day programs, homes, and community settings to observe, collaborate, and co-design supports that truly work for the person in their everyday environments.

Our Services Include:

  • Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)
  • Interim and Comprehensive Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs)
  • Restrictive Practice and Behaviour Risk Assessments
  • Training for support staff, families, and educators
  • Collaborative planning with stakeholders

Flexible Support Levels Based on Funding:
We offer tailored support packages to meet diverse needs and NDIS funding levels. These range from:

  • Urgent short-term supports (10–30 hours) for immediate compliance or restrictive practice issues
  • Foundational plans (30–60 hours) focusing on interim planning and risk reduction
  • Comprehensive packages (60+ hours) that include full assessments, BSPs, and training
  • High-complexity supports (90+ hours) for participants requiring systemic coordination and intensive planning

Each support level is delivered with care, consent, and a strong commitment to neurodiversity, safety, and sustainable change.
